NPP candidate predicts a dip in support for NDC in stronghold

Mr Godwin Nkwuawu  New Patriotic Party (NPP)  aspiring Ketu-South  Parliamentary Candidate said there were signs of erosion of support for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and an upswing in support of the NPP in the Ketu-South constituency.
He said the government’s performance against its 2008 campaign promises and living conditions in the country are making the NDC more and more unattractive.
Mr Nkwuawu, 47, a Businessman and sole contestant of the NPP’s parliamentary candidacy in the constituency  towards the 2012 elections made the observation in an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) after his vetting at Aflao the weekend.
Mr Nkwuawu said the people have become insightful and began asking questions compelling the NDC Constituency Executives to go underground.
He said the people were disappointed at the lack of commensurate reward from government for their solid support and loyalty and look to giving the NPP a try in next year’s elections.
Mr Nkwawu said the NPP has well- planned campaign strategies to break the NDC’s hold on the constituency in the 2012 elections.
